Getting the US MacUser in the UK is like pulling teeth. Nobody distributes
it :-(

I am trying to get copies of the recent series of articles on programming
the Mac in C and info on where and how much to send for the disk.

If anybody is willing to copy the articles for me I will reimburse your costs.
