    I know Motorola announced the 68040 sometime late last year.  
Does anyone know if that chip is in full production yet, or
when Apple plans to introduce into the Mac market.
    The reason I ask is.  I am getting ready to by a Mac IIcx
but knowing that the 68040 incorporates the 68030 along with the
math co-processor makes me a little nervous, because it would be
incredibly fast.(Probably blow away an fx)  It might make my almost
new mac obsolete.
    Any info, thoughts, or opinions would be appreciated.
