Go to your local record (CD) store and spend twenty bucks on a CD

I think d e v e l o p must have a problem with its manufacturing
process.  Issue 1 was O.K. but 2 and 3 had problems.  The second
copy of issue 2 I got through a users' group was fine.

The latest version of the CD-ROM driver is 3.0.1, which came out
shortly after the IIci. (3.0 didn't work on it.)  Your dealer should
be able to get it off of AppleLink for you.
