Any tips? Keywords: Mac, travel Message-ID: <10141@hubcap.clemson.edu> Date: 15 Aug 90 22:08:57 GMT Organization: Clemson University, Clemson, SC Lines: 22 My Mac SE/30 and I will be crossing the Atlantic soon on a big airplane. I am sure there are others that have gone through it. I wonder if anybody can help out with some questions that I have: 1. I will carry the SE/30 in its I/O Design Bag into the plane. Are they going to refuse entry to the Mac because it does not fit under the seat? (Let alone it won't have a ticket) 2. How does the internal hard drive and floppies react to the X-Ray machines and metal detectors? (I will have the contents of the HD backed up in floppies just in case). 3. Does laying the Mac on its back throughout the trip, make it sick? Any other tips you folks can think of, please send them to me. I would appreciate it and will summarize them. Thanks in advance, Michael Scordilis miscord@hubcap.clemson.edu
