Can't set timezone...HELP! Message-ID: Date: 15 Aug 90 15:09:34 GMT Sender: news@ccncsu.ColoState.EDU Distribution: na Organization: Colorado State University, CS Dept. Lines: 21 I'm not sure if I found a bug or I am just not doing it right. When I go to set the timezone under the preferences menu, I get the "Alert! Can't set timezone" message. Another goofy thing is this. When I change the time in the preference box, it changes itself when I close it. So if I set the time to 8:00am, when I close the pref box and then open it again, the time will be 15:00, tomorrow. This doesn't make sense. I have tried to figure if it is changing time consistently by a number of hours, but it seems that it is quite random, hour wise. Any suggestions? Charles p.s. I finally changed the time to the correct time using the unix date command. -- !===========================================================================! ! Charles H.
