For this reason I tried to write a LNCS style (lncs.sty) to be invoked within the \documentstyle command in LaTeX. I produced the following stuff: \pagestyle{empty} % \thispagestyle{empty} \oddsidemargin -8mm \evensidemargin -8mm \marginparwidth 1in \marginparsep 0pt \topmargin -20mm \headheight 0pt \headsep 0pt \topskip 0pt \footheight 0pt \footskip 0pt \textheight 265mm \textwidth 180mm but I am not fully satisfied with it. Moreover, the first page contains a page number in spite of the \pagestyle{empty}. I would like to ask more experienced LaTeX users for help and suggestions to ammeliorate the LNCS style. Thanks in advance.
