uuxqt fails to close files between execing jobs.  this screws up
the `C news' version of rnews, causing it to throw away news.
It also causes it to die eventually from not being able to create
a pipe to pipe the D.file to the exec'd programme.  This means that
X. files can accumulate for quite a while before they get processed/trashed.

Are there alternate sources for UUCP?  Is apple setting up a repository
of fixes that are going to be generally accessable?  Has anyone gotten
a bug fix out of apple?  Does anyone have any feeling for the kind of
support there really is for this product.
