Message-ID: <12762@hydra.gatech.EDU> Date: 19 Aug 90 21:13:27 GMT Organization: Georgia Institute of Technology Lines: 16 Has anyone noticed that when running win 3.0 in 386 enhanced mode that memory gets dirty and does not get cleaned up after closing an application? Here's my scenario: I have a 386-25 with 2 megs of ram and a 40 meg HD. I open turbo C in a dos window and start editing my source code and windows does not slow down at all. ( i.e. - no disk swap yet). I open another application which requires my disk to start swapping, now I close that application and go back to use turbo C but it is now swapping to disk making even simple text editing a tedious chore. Any similar experiences? A bug maybe?
