Has anyone gotten the X11R4 server running on a SysV3.2.2 i386 machine?
As I understand it, the clients should compile without problem.  But I can't
take advantage of things such as shapes without the server, or can I?  (I've
never compiled an X11 release before, so please excuse my ignorance.)

Or can I use the Xvga server I've heard about in replacement?

Any help at all would be *greatly* appreciated...
