What their safety director is doing is alleging that three and four wheelers are inherently unsafe. Had a call from their general manager to tell me that they were urging that the Q-straints be installed on the current 27 buses and that the "Seatle Red system" on future purchases. Also tenative offering of a place on Mobility Impaired Advisory committee. I feel like I can drop the current complaint, as long as it is without preudice. That would allow reinstatement if they back out. I'll never understand the minds of bureaucrats? They think they can get away with anything! The only thing worse are the Able and disABLED willing to allow us to be subject to this selective discrimination. But I've long said when you rock the boad to move ahead you may get a little wet! With your interests hope you make it to Atlanta when ADAPT begins it's efforts toward a NATIONWIDE attendant care policy. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!130!10!Walter.Hart Internet: Walter.Hart@f10.n130.z1.fidonet.org
