Look at some other groups, such as, rec.arts.startrek or rec.bicycles, or someothers, they have more than 10 times the amount of messages and I don't hear them spliting up into, rec.arts.theoldstartrek, rec.arts.thenextgeneration, rec.bicycles.roadbike, rec.bicycles.mountainbike, you get the idea. It isn't that hard to hit 'n' or 'k.'
