I think it's better to err on the side of more information rather than to try and impose litmus tests on a potential information provider. If someone wants to start an FAQ here, let 'em. If the contents are an egregious mishmash, the membership will make its feelings known quickly enough. Ideally the contents of an FAQ posting are jointly arrived at and cooperatively updated to reflect current knowledge. No one person's opinions, including the administrator's, should predominate.
