Michael Ashburner's Drosophila Genetic Map Database is now also available from
the EMBL File Server for downloading using standard electronic mail.
There are two versions of each database file, plain text and PostScript. You
will find these files in the directory DROSOPHILA.
For more information send a mail message to NETSERV@EMBL.BITNET and include the
lines
HELP DROSOPHILA
DIR DROSOPHILA


I'd like to thank Don Gilbert, who kindly provided us with the database files.
Michael Ashburner tried to send them directly to EMBL, but as some of you may
have already noticed, the JANET/EARN gateway does nasty things even with simple
mail files...
