Message-ID: Date: 28 Aug 90 00:44:11 GMT Sender: news@diemen.utas.edu.au Distribution: comp Lines: 19 Hi I have an XT clone which had its hard disc boot sector infected with both the ping pong and ping pong-b virus. Clean was able to detect both viruses and reported successfully removing both. However upon rescanning the drive with scan66 the ping pong-b virus was still present. We are running MSDOS 3.3 and boot off a clean disc before scanning and attempting to clean the hard disc. Any suggestions apart from backing up the entire disc and reformatting. Has anybody else had this problem? Thankyou _______________________________________________________________________________ John. B. Miezitis.
