The ethernet cards used are Novell NE2000 compatibles. I originally had functional problems on the NCR due to higher bus speed. Then subsequently I set a jumper (equivalent to jumper W16 on a NE2000) to correct the weird symtoms. BUT still, I get the message FILESERVER NOT FOUND after executing IPX.COM, then NET3.COM. I ran COMCHECK on the two machines and it worked. On the non-dedicated server, I can login. So, I know that the server is up and running. Does anyone have any idea of what's going on??? Did anyone use the NCR916 on a Novell network? If yes, what NIC card (hopefully ethernet) did you used?
