Hi All.

I have a modem (uses the Sierra chipset) which has a 'FaxSend' option
built in.  I managed to get the AT commands for using the fax option from
the manufacturer, but it still doesn't help me send a fax!

I'd like to get some source code (in C preferably) or some documentation
on how to convert an ASCII file into fax format so I hack something up
myself under UNIX.

Alternatively, i'm open to suggestions to a commercial package that will
support this feature in my modem (Under SCO XENIX/UNIX).  I'm also using
this same modem as a my dial-in/out modem but the added feature of 
email-->fax would be really neat :-)

All help is appreciated.  Please e-mail all responses - my newsfeed is
