Scan picture with Apple Scanner (16 gray scale) and AppleScan program (1.b Perhaps manipulate it with Digital Darkroom program (in Mac)) 2. Save/export picture as TIFF-file (8-bit) 3. Move it (with FTP) to UNIX system and then to PC floppy disk. 4.a Import the picture into WP 5.1. text directly or 4.b Convert it into .WPG -file and then import it into WP text Got problems that I was able to get through except one: Imported TIFF -image has inverted into negative image and I can't get those original gray shades anymore in WP. In UNIX enviroment I can view those pictures w/ Poskanzer graphics tools: tifftopgm tiff_file | pgmtopbm | pbmtoxwd | xwud without problem. Anybody know what's wrong?
