If memory serves me correctly, anonymous FTP to:

a.gp.cs.cmu.edu

and a cd to:

/usr/mkant/public

should get you to a number of Common Lisp utilities, including a portable
CLtL2 logical pathname implementation and a DEFSYSTEM.
