On the older models we were able to continue printing after the "Replace drum kit" message while on the newer models printing stopped as soon as the message appeared. After checking with our service vendor, we found that there was a firmware upgrade on the newer models that halts printing when the message appears. This was confirmed recently when one of our older models had its firmware upgraded. Two days later the dreaded message appeared and printing stopped! However our service tech was able to come out and set a switch (whether hardware or software not known) and we were (and are) able to print again until a replacement drum kit comes in. Hope that helps out! Larry ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry Seals | seals@uncvx1.bitnet NCSEAA | RTP, NC | "My views are more or less my own."
