I am also interested what is available in this area. Specificly mail servers for 386 UNIX's that work with sendmail/smail. Actually I have one already, a modified version of Micheal DeCorte ftp version to work with smail 3.1 or sendmail. It makes use of the file areas of an XBBS bulletin board I run. It is capable of detecting if the file is binary or text and uuencode if it's binary. It is written in shell script with one small C file. You can get a copy by send mail to: archive-server@fiver Subject: hi there send unix_bbs bpms1.tar.Z ------ Or you can get a copy by downloading directly from the bbs.
