I was sending something "big" across NSFnet the other day, and I was
watching the progress of the SMTP transaction with Mail -v, and about
2/3 of the way into it, I got "putbody: write error: network
unreachable" and about 10 seconds later I got ">>> QUIT" followed by
"OK" ... hmmm.  I checked the queue, and it was gone; at the other
side, the messge was truncated.

5.61 on a Sun 4/490 ... 4.0.3 I guess (not my machine).

Anyone ever see this before?
