We want to build a database relating to genetic and develop- mental information for the nematode C. elegans. Since the data is in the form of text, numbers, images and graphics we thought that an object- oriented database would be most appropriate. But we are unaware of the OODB's which are available and the comparisons between them. We want to run on a Sun Sparkstation. Thus I would be most appreciative of any such info. If I get sufficent response and there is other interest I can com- pile a summary and post it to the net. Please email responses. Joe Gatto Massachusetts General Hospital Dept.
