We have the libraries and clients up and running, but not the server. What I need to know is this: How do I map in the VGA frame-buffer memory and I/O ports into a user process? Once I can access the video card registers and frame-buffer from a user process, porting the rest of the server will be relatively easy (famous last words, huh? :-) Please reply via e-mail or post, either way. I'll post again when I get the server working. Thanks, Ari P.S. If anybody wants the compiled binaries mentioned above, I can make them available for anonymous FTP. -- shamash@cs.columbia.edu ..!rutgers!cs.columbia.edu!shamash
