To anyone with Mach 2.5 build experience:

Is it possible to make/build Mach 2.5 programs, especially the 
kernel, on a non-Mach *NIX system, such as SunOS or Dynix?

If so, what changes need to be made to items such as
the Mach 2.5 library and the Mach 2.5 make and mig commands? 

What was your experience in making these changes; what
techniques did you use; what was your target *NIX system?
