I have taken the plunge - I'm getting a 386 board, got Bruce Evan's patches, and am going
to convert my machine to a 32 bit Minix platform.  I was running Microport V/AT,
however, and used cpio to archive a lot of stuff I've used over the years.

I remember once someone saying that they had pax ran under Minix.  Are there patches
I need to apply, or does it run "out of the box" (I get the sources from my local
friendly archive site and just build it)?
