Message-ID: <348@bally.Bally.COM> Date: 23 Aug 90 19:57:25 GMT Organization: adj: characterized by complete conformity to the standards and requirements of an organization Lines: 26 Hi - I am interested in getting Minix, if it will work on my '286 clone. Will it work? Where do I get it? How much does it cost? Also, I have three years' experience with AT&T UNIX (actually, AIX) and am wondering: what IS Minix? what ISN'T Minix? ...I just want to have a hobby UNIX machine at home, plus possibly set up a UUCP link to someone who will let me hook up (I may be relocating and future employer doesn't have UUCP - yet). My Minix-ignorance is considerable, I know... Thanks for your help.
