When you post a program you have written or ported, PLEASE say something about WHAT version it is written for. We have a conglomeration of v1.3, v1.5.x, PC and Atari-ST systems out there, and it's only going to get worse when Mac and Amiga people join us. If I might specifically specify what to use, I'd suggest this: Keywords: source, Minix-ST, Minix-PC, Minix-ST-1.1, Minix-PC-1.3, Minix-ST-1.5.10, Minix-PC-1.5.10 in other words, put at least the machine name, if not what OS version (I suppose you can forget the version number if you're up-to-date) in the Keywords: field of an article header. If you're mailing it in, just put it at the beginning of your article. List all machines. If you're unsure, overspecify, not underspecify! (yes, I've been working on the Plains archive today). -- Glen Overby uunet!plains!overby (UUCP) overby@plains (Bitnet)
