Message-ID: <256@gort.cs.utexas.edu> Date: 22 Aug 90 23:54:35 GMT Followup-To: alt.sys.sun Organization: U. Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 12 I'm trying to attach some SCSI devices to a Sun 3/60. Is it possible to make/buy a cable that has the 50-pin serial-type connector on the 3/60 end, and a 50-pin centronics-type connector on the peripheral end? I'd like to be able to daisy chain peripherals that use the 50-pin centronics-type connectors. Can I daisy chain an unterminated tape drive and hard drive and use centronics-type terminator blocks for termination? THanks in advance, --Jason jason@cs.utexas.edu (512) 326-9102
