We have been using KIP and GatorBox tunneling between Penn State, Rochester, Princeton, NyserNet, Rutgers. With the different options becoming available, and with an IPTalk standard being created, there seems to be some confusion on the best ways to implement wide area appletalk networks. I would like to write up a 'How To' guide, including KIP and GatorBox connections, problems I (an others in waan) have come across, trouble shooting techniques, coordination of network numbers, etc... I think it would be very useful to the macintosh network community. I know there are other ways to connect, and there are several WAAN's across the globe. It would be nice to take this knowledge, and make a useful document for the beginner (or the advanced network admin who is having 'one of those days.') Any war stories, opinions, suggestions, help, etc... would be appreciated. Info from those using devices other then KIP, GatorBoxes, Ciscos, would be very useful. A note of support saying this a good thing to do would help, also.
