I am unaware of a ymodem or zmodem that runs on IBM mainframes.  There
is a Kermit implementation available from Columbia that runs under TSO
or CMS.

Frank da Cruz has an excellent book out on the Kermit file transfer
protocol.  I can probably mail you a copy of the sixth edition Kermit
Protocol Manual (June 1986) if you like.
