Could some answer some questions on SLIP for me.  I am justing finding out
what TCP/IP is all about.

If a *NIX machine is running TCP/IP at location A, and also location B, how
does SLIP work between them.  What is it purpose?    

If Location A is hooked to a ethernet could location B get to whatever
applications that Location is doing via SLIP.  Please email me some 
information concerning SLIP and the use, please.
