[C A U T I O N: flame follows] That's the latest release. It does have some problems, and I decided for mine application to use something else. A problem is, that when you ask SUN, they tell you there are no reported bugs. After a lot of searching, it seems that SUN has 2 buglists: an internal one and one for customers. The one for customers for PC/NFS is empty, don't bother checking. As for compatibility with MSC: after receiving NULL from the SUN support people (as workstation people, the support people don't seem to know about PC's), I asked BORLAND UK to look into it. Paul Hinks of BORLAND support tried really hard, but was unable to get this working. At least, he tried. By the same time, I discovered that other companies are making much more effort in the PC***NFS business, and picked another one. This Canadian firm told me he'd make the interface specifications available real soon, and make a toolkit available with source, so I went for that one. I believe other third parties are doing similary well, so I suggest to contact one of them. Conclusion: junk SUN's PC-NFS when it comes to support. Go third-party and feel much better. That felt good! Geert Jan
