Hello,

I am after software packages for remote sensing image processing. The platform
is SUN SPARCstation with 8-bit colour display. As the software is mainly
for teaching students remote sensing image processing, it should be easy
enough for non-computer science student to handle. I feel that 8-bit colour
display should give some reasonable quality image display which should be
good enough for teaching. We cannot afford 24-bit or more bit display, anyway,
so that do not tell me something which require extra add-on's for the
SPARCstation.

I would be grathful if someone on the net can send me some information on
the software of this kind. I would prefer PD products or low cost commercial
packages.
