  I need a shell archive creator whose archive files make
  directories when the need to.

  Example:
  
      I archive    mystuff/*   mystuff/subdir/*

  When I run the shell archive to extract the stuff
  it would be nice if it would make the directories
  mystuff and mystuff/subdir.

  An Ftp site, or e-mailed source would be great.
