You can grab the screen with ScreenX or Grabbit. I prefer ScreenX. You just pick the screen you want to save and hit the save screen button. If the image from VirtGIF is a superbitmap you can just scroll around the screen and save until you have the whole image. Then put all the pieces together with a paint program.
