Because the Brazil has strange laws relative to international business. One person can't purchase a microcomputer, if it isn't made in Brazil. There are some exceptions. For example, if a brazilian is travelling and buy a micro in another coutry, then he can back with it. (I did it!) The software is another problem. Because this, we don't have access to original copies (and we have a lot of pirates...). Of course, it is relative to Amiga, because the Commodore don't have a factory here. We have other micros, like PC clones, MSX (argh!) and enough software for it. Well, this is my problem: I have a Amiga 500 standard and I would like to know more about this machine. For it, I pretend to subscribe some Amiga magazi- nes, but I don't know this pubications. Can you help me? I would like to receive a short (or long...) description of each one more importants english magazines, and its address to mail. Thank you for all answers! PS: Please, send answer by e-mail, if is possible. ================================================================================ Gelson Dias Santos Bitnet: GELSON@SBU.UFRGS.ANRS.BR My address: Av Bento Goncalves 948 apto l2 Porto Alegre - RS CEP: 90620 - Brazil *** PLEASE, DON'T LOOK MY GRAMMAR ERRORS!
