I think a few of you are missing the point.  Some of these program will
convert your GIF's to =SCREEN IMAGES=.  It is then very easy to toggle screens
and save them as IFF images with such programs as "ScreenX" "Grabit" and a
host of other such screen savers.  Pickup a couple of these and then you will
be able to save your converted GIF's to IFF images.
