I agree with Jason that the DM characters supplied are killer ones and they may be worth the $9.95 the magazine cost. But they better be!!! Because the magazine, and particularly the disk, are worthless. The reviews are long winded and contain very few helpful hints, they are basically rewrites of the manuals. And there are only a few reviews. The disk contains the Martino spell list and a map of level 4 for DM only. There is a teaser screen shot of a screen from the Dungeon Master Editor. There is also a sample of a bad adventure game written with T.A.C.L. Of course, for only $5 you can order Martino's complete PD maps. And for only $20 you can get the Dungeon Master Editor. And T.A.C.L. can be ordered for $40. So, basically I just spent $10 for ads for other products. Incredible. For a better magazine try amiDetonator edited by Bryce Dawley at 431 N. Park Dr. #1 Arlington, VA 22203-2312 (703) 525-9230. This magazine has a fairly complete list of cheats for Amiga games, great short reviews of a lot of games, and a continuing list of their favorites. Here is their current top ten: 1. Datastorm 2. Batman The Movie 3. New Zealand Story 4. Battle Squadron 5. Populous 6. Shadow of the Beast 7. Rick Dangerous 8. NY Warriors 9. Denaris 10. Xenon II & Gauntlet II The magazine also reviewed all the other Amiga magazines!!! I got the magazine at HT also. It is marked Volume II Issue 1. But I think there is only one past issue which can be ordered for 2.50 from them. I called them today, but only got an answering machine. By the way, the magazine cover price is $2, but HT charges $3!!!! Larry Kaplan Ph (415) 335-1584 Fax (415) 967-9541 Silicon Graphics, Inc. Mountain View, CA 94039 USA
