Help, I have a copy of Handler XM, by James Dillon.  It is an 80 column
Kermit Ver 3.3 terminal program, and I am using an Atari XM301 modem.
 It was working some time ago but now I can not get on line with it, it
does not respond to the "ATDP" command, the modem just sits there, a light
is suppose to go on when it is on the phone line, it doesn't do anything.
The program runs fine, it just isn't talking to the modem (it IS connected).

 Does anybody have any Ideas?

   PS: this is a posting for my Mother, no, REALLY.
