Subject: Rebooting with the Monitor Master

I have recently purchased a Monitor Master switchbox, and have already developed
the rather lazy habit of rebooting with it (when I want to change monitors 
also).  Is this bad for the hardware?  Should I be powering down my computer 
before I press the MM switch?
