I have a barely functional AT&T 6300 from ca. 1984 with small problems
with nearly every component.  I think that with another 6300 in 
similar shape, and sufficient baling wire, I might be able to make one
computer which actually works.

Does anyone have a retired 6300 in the closet that they would be willing
to part with for a *minimal* price (e.g. <$100 + shipping)?  If so, please
