I created an /etc/issue file with world readable access but /etc/getty never copies it to the screen. It doesn't work on the console and I don't think it works on tty000. A quick look at the /etc/getty binary shows that /etc/issue is "in there". What's wrong? Why isn't /etc/issue being copied to the 3B1 console (or to tty000)? car. -- Christopher A.
