Then EVAL This will show you your Rom version. Mine says. Version HP48-C Copywrite HP 1989 To leave the diagnastic mode. (ON-D) use ON-C. This is a system halt and will stop almost anything. Almost..... ;) Now, I have a question. I just found out tonight that one of my directories has died. When I try to go into that directory, it just hangs. I have to ON-C to get out of it. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong? I have 11K avail right now so I am not crashing th memory. I did fill it a couple days ago when I downloaded Hexatom. Would this temporary memory shortage have caused this ill state of affairs? Basically there is nothing important in the directory so I would like to just erase it if possible, BUT it won't let me kill the directory without cleaning it out first. Since I can't get into it, I am stuck. What can be done, if anything? Is there the equivalent of "rm -r" on the 48? I could really use it. ian frechett frechett@snoopy.colorado.edu
