Message-ID: Date: 23 Aug 90 01:06:26 GMT Sender: news@sun.soe.clarkson.edu Reply-To: nelson@clutx.clarkson.edu (aka NELSON@CLUTX.BITNET) Organization: Clarkson University, Potsdam NY Lines: 11 Help. I've only ever installed 3.5" drives on Zenith machines, whose BIOS recognizes them. The BIOS on my home machine is ignorant of such things. I installed device=driver.sys /d:0/s:18/f:7 but that doesn't seem to help. Will a newer BIOS help? -- --russ (nelson@clutx [.bitnet | .clarkson.edu]) Russ.Nelson@$315.268.6667 We won the cold war. The Russians spent trillions defending their stuff, then they found that they didn't have any stuff. Will we avoid the same trap?
