The motherboard has CGA/EGA built in but for some reason EGA doesn't seem to work -- well it's alittle difficult to tell since CGA/EGA is magnified almost 3 to 1 on such a large monitor. Alas I have sopme software that requires VGA so I think that I will have to invest in a VGA card. Oh, before I forget I also run a 24-bit color card from PixelWorks. I have their UltraClipper 1280-8 card which gives me 1600x1200x256 interlaced or 1280x1024x256 non-interlaced. I run it in the 1280x1024 mode. Thus I really don't need a card that gives me 1024x768 probably only 640x480 or 800x600 but I would like to keep the 256 color part. Any suggestions? E-mail please. Thanks for your attention to an endless request. Kevin -- Kevin "auric" Crocker Athabasca University UUCP: ...!{alberta,ncc,attvcr}!atha!kevinc Inet: kevinc@cs.AthabascaU.CA
