We have been using the Panasonic C1381 for a while now and VERy
successfully.  We drive it with an Orchid ProDesigner II card, and
get excellent results.  YES, it does "CLICK" between changes and sometimes
even seems to rock (some long nights at the monitor), but it has
been reliable and consistent.  We have used all sorts of software
Ventura, WP 5.1, Pagemaker, Windows/386, and a horde of other with
no problem.

Personnally I would stick with what you have, and enjoy.
