.   Has anyone used the new Version 5.0 Norton Utilities yet? I'm looking
ahead to the time when my hard disk starts to hiccup, and trying to decide
what combination of utilities to buy. Based on reviews in BYTE and PC Mag
I had decided that Mace and SpinRite would give me everything I can imagine
needing. Has Norton incorporated a low-level reformatter like SpinRite? Also,
the reviews mention some cases where Mace did better on file recovery than
the Norton utilities. (Or am I thinking of Norton Disk Doctor? If so, has
this been incorporated in v5.0?) Any advice would be appreciated.
