I have a 386SX system and when I boot on to the system I get the following error: Error: Cannot read/write the EMS segment. Shadow Ram jumper may be incorrect. LIM Driver not installed! How can I fix this. I tried playing around with the utilities, I have the VEMM.sys accessed through my config.sys file. I tried playing with the jumper and then I can access only 640K instead of the 1 Mb. When I enable the jumper the error comes up again. I ran chkdsk and I still have only 640K available in RAM. I have a color VGA system with 40 MB hard drive, if that is any help. I could use any advice. Thanks J.S.
