I had a worksheet with some 250 rows and close to 20 columns which I had to sort using five keys. So I started with the two least important keys which apparently were sorted correctly. Next, I sorted using the three most important keys but I it was obvious that Excel had sorted wrong several instances at the third key. Has anyone ever experienced similar sorting problems in Excel? I renewed the sorting procedure several times but the final result was always wrong at the third key. The machine I was using was an AT with 640KB and 1MB of EMS. The Windows version was 2.03.
