It is partiularly bothersome when I'm running XR4, and want to open another window or two (like another xterm, or start up xmh). This happens when I'm only running 2 or 3 xterms, twm, and oclock. It's not like I have 20 windows open already. Doing a "ps -augx" shows no processes hogging memory in the "MEM%" column. This never happened before when I was running AIX 2.2.1 Is the server so much bigger under AOS or do I just have things configured wrong? Any advice appreciated.
